I didn't find anything offensive or inappropriate about the joke.
Brody, my take on the verse in proverbs you are referring to is for people who do something deceptive or mean and claim it's a joke. There are a lot of people who like to play cruel practical "jokes" on people to bolster there own image. There's also people who lie for their own gain and when they get caught, they try to divert attention from their guilt. I don't think it's referring to harmless practical jokes. Unfortunately, practical jokes can also get out of hand so we should be cautious.
But, it's now the 2nd so I guess we can all move on now...until next year.

Hey I came across this kind of late (past april 1st) But I though to myself, there could actually be reality in that. ( Jeusu visiting)Obviously "someone" visited Steve gregg as a child according to his bio on the narrow path.
And I certainly had a very "impressive" encounter with the holy spirit a couple nights ago ( see a tribute to Christ) by glow. So funny as your joke was ( an it was kinds cute!) It does have possibilities!
