Hey that's interesting Paidion. It just sounds true to me because it's so brief and unembellished and really who else but Peter could know these details and he was together with Mark.
Mark 16:9-20

However, Irenaeus, [A.D. 120-202] quoted Mark 16:19! So, whether or not it was part of Mark's original gospel, it must have existed quite early.

Dolphin, I presume the book to which you refer is:
The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts
edited by Philip W. Comfort and David P. Barrett.
It was originally published by Baker Books. The first printing by
Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. was in April 2001. It also contains photographs of some of the manuscripts, some of which are considered to have been transcribed as early as the second century.
Are you familiar with Hellenistic Greek, Dolphin?
I am not sure that the book would be "interesting" to anyone who
isn't.
