Re: ***
I have been using Gods truth, His word and positive affirmations to re-program my subconscious mind. It's working, I sat down and wrote out spiritual goals pertaining to Christ and read them aloud night and day, and it is powerful.

Hi, focusedman. How does this fit into one's life as a follower of Christ (i.e., a Christian)?
I don't have your original post to remind me what you first wrote.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Re: ***
I’ll tell you how it relates to being a Christian; we are created in the same class as God. What class is God? John 4:24 says that God is a spirit. So that means we are spirits that create in the same manner as our Heavenly father. How does God create? God spoke the universe, world into existence. He gives us the same ability. For Jesus said “he that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, he shall have whatever he says”. The key is believing with our heart. Not the physical organ that pumps blood throughout our bodies, but with the spirit, subconscious. That’s the part of us that’s made in the image and likeness of God. Positive affirmations, hearing God’s words over and over through repetition affects what we believe in our hearts. God didn’t create the world through evolution. That’s Satan’s great lie. God create the world by believing in his heart and speaking out of his mouth, the same ability he gives to us.

Hi, focusedman.
Your conclusion that mankind has the ability to create things through speech and belief does not necessarily or logically follow from your various references and premises. As I suppose you know, the Christian faith and life is not about any innate power that we have in ourselves. It's about doing the will of God by trusting and following the example and authority of Jesus.
We have good instructions: pray without ceasing, rejoice always, give thanks to God, love God, love our neighbors, repay evil with good, live by the Spirit, think on honest, just, and good things, and so on (1 Thess 5:15-22, Gal 5:16-18, Matt 22:36-40, Phil 4:4-9). These are the things that I think Christians should focus on accomplishing.
If the law or creative power that you advocate is a natural part of creation, then I suppose that scientific experimentation will someday verify it. If it were thus proven true, then we could acknowledge it in the same way that we acknowledge the natural benefits of a nutritious diet and physical exercise. Until then, I like to remember that I want God's will to be done, not necessarily my own, and it is God who receives our prayers and is able to grant them (Prov 15:29, Luke 11:1-13).
I think that that's pretty much all I can say about it. (The subject of prayer, on the other hand, is big, and I'm sure there are other threads here in which it was/is discussed.)
