This reminds me of the three-year "eternal" imprisonment which Josephus records Jonathan as having endured. Josephus indicated in Book 6 of The Wars of the Jews that Jonathan was "condemned to αιωνιος imprisonment".

If "αιωνιος" means "eternal" or "everlasting" (as some insist) rather than simply "lasting", then Jonathon's three-year imprisonment was eternal. (Maybe it seemed so to Jonathon).
Just curious. Where do you see this event taking place? In otherwords what is the setting depicted in Rev. 20?

What event?
Paidion

Man judges a person by his past deeds, and administers penalties for his wrongdoing. God judges a person by his present character, and disciplines him that he may become righteous.

Yes, what event?

You can't be talking about the millenium. That's not an event; it's a period of time ---- 40 years (for the full preterist), 1000 years (for the pre-millenialist), or over 2000 years (for the amillenialist).

You know Paidion, I'm not going to play your game. You made a comment and then I asked a question relating to your comment and now you want to act like you don't remember what was said. Look up just a few posts where I asked the question and showed your quote.

I'm not playing a game. I'm trying to determine the event to which you are referring, so that I can answer your question, "Where do you see this event taking place?". You haven't once stated what event you are talking about in any of the previous posts.

I don't understand why you are having such difficulty in answering such a simple question.

I believe he's talking about the millennium.
