My bible study and reading has never been the same since that fateful day of catching Steve on the bible answer man. But more than anything else, Steve's life and humble spirit both astounds and encourages me.

Same here and when i first heard Steve on the BAM i thought he was arrogant, so this shows how accurate first impressions are. Steve's lectures have transformed my understanding of the bible and my relationship with Christ and i can never thank him enough.

Allyn wrote:You may not know this Steve but there are even more people who listen daily. I have your whole set of Matthew lectures on my endtimesmadness website and lately several individuals internationally have been listening for hours to your recorded messages. The matthew series is what I think to be the most well done/easy listening of all. 27 to 30 minute recordings are the best IMO and this is how the Matthew series is formatted. God bless your work Steve.
Hey Everyone,

I have to say that I agree with everyone on this thread about the impact Steve Gregg's teachings have had in my life too! But I quoted Allyn because I did not know about a 30 minute Matthew lecture series (Is it on thenarrowpath.com site under Verse by Verse Teachings?) I am particularly interested in Matthew right now because some senior ladies want me to study Matthew with them on a week by week basis. Believe it or not, we went through Matthew last year and they want to do it again, so I am looking for a more in-depth study this time around. I will view the the endtimesmadness website, as mentioned in the quote above, and of course check out thenarrowpath, but if there is some contact info that I need in order to access these teachings, please let me know. The 30 minute time-frame sounds perfect for sharing in small groups. Thank you.

Also, I am watching the forum posts regarding the new school that you, Steve, are planning to begin. For years now, I've wanted to go to Ireland and/or Scotland so if you start it there, I would be excited if you would accept me as a student and helper around the campus. Of course, if you start it in the U.S., that's closer but maybe not quite as adventurous! Where ever the Lord places the school is great! Where ever it is, I hope to see you and the many others there too.

I'm listening to it right now on digitalministries.us under Steve Gregg and verse by verse teachings.

I think there was an impression that the whole of Matthew was 30 minutes. I think what he meant to say was that each lecture for a multi-lecture series (many hours) were 30 minutes.

I am trying to make a teachers study guide using the Matthew series. The intent is for a small group setting. The lectures are so good.

Allyn, a study guide sounds like a great idea! I went to digitalministries and listened to the first one, then ordered a DVD MP3 from I believe, a brother Tom... who may post on this forum (I recognized his avatar.) I had thought he could make it available by download, but he emailed me and offered to regular mail it.

I liked the first teaching for several reasons. I think it proved to be objective, balanced and thorough, so much so that it can be used for anyone, "saved" or "unsaved." I've got a reluctant atheist in mind now.... and I'm already appreciating the book of Matthew more and more. Thanks to everyone who has a part in this great work. :)
