Will we crown Him ?? (hymnal theology)

I've always seen those hymns as a declaration and recognition, on my/our part, of Christ's victory and exaltation. It has never occurred to me that I was the one actually crowing him....but I could be wrong in my understanding.

PS...I also have the habit of thumbing through something during the entertainment sessions. :) I became a Christian almost 24 years ago and that's one aspect of Church that's never grabbed me.
