Love for One Another vs. Neighbor

Post by darinhouston » Fri Aug 02, 2024 8:23 am

Has Steve taught on the love we should have for one another in the church and, in particular, how that differs as a unique expectation from the commandment that we are to love our neighbor?

have you tried calling when he is live on the radio?
I've not followed the show for awhile since maybe when I was on the road more often. (i started listening to yesterday's show now.)
I don't see many people at hand at the forum to be able to offer a chance finding of someone with that answer as to what Steve may have said.

If you see this on the day I posted, then you may catch the zoom meeting tonight. Go to the Thenarrowpath.com announcements for that access.

I think both terms would have the same meaning. Mainly be kind to your neighbor and people in church but also be ready to offer aid to those in need when you can. Like John the Baptist said "if you have two tunics, give to the one who has none." My thought is first that we should be ready to look to help others around us who have need. The other is that we don't save the dolphins in Africa before we help someone in our church group.
