If the devil believes in God....

I heard Steve say on the air that "even the devil believes in God."
I don't recall ever hearing someone say that before.

If that's true, which I'm sure it is, why is he so determined to fight with God.

No person alive today has tangible proof that God exists, yet we believe He is real.
Yes, we have many things that we take as proof of God's existence.
The devil has met God face-to-face, I assume, and yet challenges Him everyday.

He (the devil) must have an absolute understanding of God's power and still rebels.
Does he really think he can overpower God?

No specific point here, just thought Steve made a very interesting statement.

Paul says "If you confess Jesus Christ as Lord, AND you believe He has risen, you will be saved"

The devil definitely has the "believe" part down. But I'm pretty sure that LORD part is where he abstains.

Same problem many "believers" have, I suppose?
