most of you are familiar with him, i read his book "kingdom of the cults" but i never really listened to his discussions with those of other belief systems, but then i was shown this website that has sort of his "greatest hits" sort of recordings, which includes him talking with madalyn murray o'hair, and it really touched me how assertive and bold, yet humble he was when confronting those opposing the gospel, and there is also some of the best moments of his question and answer sessions after his lectures, where he talked to mormons, jw's and other similar groups, and all i can say is that i was very impressed, and very inspired, here is the website

but be aware... all of the recordings are for real player, but they are so worth listening to

Hey Devin,

I love Dr Walter Martin. He was such a blessing to me. His best debate was with a guy named "Van Hale"(Van Halen anyone? :P ). Van is a Mormon apologist. Walter embarressed him very badly. His debate with Madeline Ohaire made me want to drop-kick her in the face.

Devin,
Thanks for the link. I have spent the last couple weeks listening to Walter Martins teachings on Mormonism, and I recommend that if anyone has not listened to his teachings, they take some time and visit the site.
His debate with Madeline Ohaire made me want to drop-kick her in the face.
Brody,
I have not been able to find this debate. If you don’t mind, could you direct me to it?
Thank you,
Robin

yeah man... i had listened to most of the first half of the discussion with ohaire, and i thought my ears were going to bleed, then i studied a little more about her, and it turns out that another atheist murdered her and some of her family, it was about some money issues with the "foundation" she started.. but it was a pretty crazy scenario

she is one atheist that i would not like to meet in a dark alley

Hi Dude,

It was actually an ex-convict that she had hired. If what I read was correct, she died in a rather grousome manner. Her son is a Christian, and talks about his mothers life on occasion. She was the epitome of evil. I can't even speak of the details here, but trust me Bro, it was bad.

Yepp. She at this very moment is a believer of the faith she vehemently denied. And she is also an A-mill Partial preterist non calvinist believer. :)
