P.S It is a shame that that she is considered one of the most "spiritual" women in the U.S.

It's not surprising that she would see it that way. The fact of the matter is that Jesus is THE (<definite article) way ...THE truth and THE life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through HIM!!

I don't believe that Oprah is a bad person per se. And I'm not going to dog her out here. But when it comes to spiritual issues - it's like you said...It's a sad shame that she is so influential.

I dont think that she is a bad person either. But her influence upon modern women(and some men), as far as the there mold of thinking and reasoning is troubling.

Whatever proceeds from the mouth, reveals whats in the heart. Discern the spirits.

But it's actually a good questions which many unbelievers ask.
Is there a waterproof christian answer to this?
I mean if we say that God judges those which never heard the gospel according to their hearts then they might also say that thise proves that it's all about being nice and loving and then you get to heaven no matter if you are muslim or buddhist or whatever.
This doesn't make sense to me. The bible says there is not one who is righteous then HOW can somebody who lives at the end of the world have a good enough heart to make it to heaven? :?
Or even if some tribes worship and recognize a creator then it's not God, they worship their idols and this also doesn't please God. So even if they recognize their must be a God then how does this save them when they worship other gods but not God? Have you ever seen a tribe somewhere in the jungle where they worship the God of the bible and not some idols?
I wonder where they even get the ideas for these idols, wether they make them up or wether demons inspire them and teach them what gods there are...

Beaver, reading Romans chapters 1-3 might shed some light on this issue.

I have read Romans 1-3 and I am also listening to an in depth study on Romans 1-8 and the teacher also talks about the law and how it works in us but he also says that we cannot be justified through the law. Now if everybody knows how the law works, and he said that Paul does not only mean the biblical law but also every other kind of law there is, then he is aware that he has broken the law and constantly breaks it. But knowing that he breaks the law and that his conscience accuses him doesn't save him.

Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another

What does this mean? That they automatically know and obey the law?
But the bible makes clear that nobody fulfills the law, so if nobody fulfills it then what is this good for? Even if they know what's right and what's wrong they still cannot follow it and become righteous this way, so how does it help them?

I think the point Paul makes, Romans 1-4, is that everyone, both Jew and Gentile, needs a savior. While the person in the jungle (why are they always in the jungle?) might conclude from observing nature that there must be a God, how could he tell whether God loved him or hated him?

That's why Paul said in 1st Tim that Jesus Christ will be revealed to every man in due time. I take him at his word.
