Upcoming Election
Re: Upcoming Election
Dwight, she's not saying it's editing which caused her too move her head that way. She's talking about the editing that's clear on the clip that was linked to by Ian. The slow motion, the repetition. It's an edited clip.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
Re: Upcoming Election
Please indulge me by watching it a few times and see if it does not look like her actions are repeated. And, judging by the actions of the people around her, it seems pretty apparent that it is put into slow motion. Let me know what you think.

Re: Upcoming Election
I just looked at it again and it was not in slow motion - huh. And, it looked like she was having a laugh with some folks - not too bizarre - I can allow her that. I still think she is more dangerous as potus than the alternative.

Re: Upcoming Election
I acknowledge the editing in the sense of slow motion and repeating. As Jeremiah said, I thought you were referring to the actual movement of her head, closing of her eyes, etc. Those parts appear to be real and even if it was not a seizure, it is not normal behavior, and shows that something is wrong. Combine that with her wide open mouth and overreaction to balloons on the night of her acceptance speech, which many have pointed out is also a sign of something going on in the brain. Also there is a photo of her walking with a black man, who apparently is her doctor who goes with her wherever she goes. A closeup of the photo reveals he has in his hand a typical type of syringe, which has medication to calm her down, in case of a "seizure" or similar incident. I agree with you, Jepne, that she would be dangerous as POTUS.
Also, Dr. James Dobson has said that he knows that Trump has given his heart to the Lord recently. How genuine that is, we don't know, but if genuine, we are dealing with a new convert, a baby Christian, and as such, we should cut him some slack, as we would for any other new Christian. Why would we keep pointing out his past, if he is indeed a new believer? Unfortunately, the posts here haven't cut Trump much slack at all.

Re: Upcoming Election
My thoughts about Trump have nothing to do with his spiritual life but the words he says which reflect the way he is thinking.
We are not voting for 'saint-in-chief' but an administrator and leader.
Having some depth as a Christian would be a help to him in this job, but I am not here to judge his walk with God, if he has one. Many people say the 'repeat-after-me' prayer and their lives do not change. Time will tell. I am not in a hurry.

This T-shirt says it all:

Re: Upcoming Election
Did you see that Hillary mocks Trump for suggesting that we build a wall to keep out illegals, yet she and Bill have a high wall built around their Chappaqua estate to keep out undesirables. What hypocrisy.
It's okay for them to protect their estate, but not for us to protect our country.

a Walls keep out people.
b Citizens have property
therefore: Citizens can build walls to keep out people.
----
a Walls keep out people
b Nations have borders
therefore: Since private citizens can build walls to keep out criminals, Nations can build walls to keep out people.

This is a non sequitur. Does not follow. Because these are not parallel statements. National borders are not the same as private property. For example, people can immigrate into a country. They can't immigrate into my house.
So you can't draw a parallel between those two to deem one person hypocrite.

Dwight speaking: I think it is very logical:
1. Walls keep people out
2. Citizens have property
therefore: Citizens can build walls to keep people out
1. Walls keep people out
2. Nations have property
therefore: Nations can build walls to keep people out
The fact that you can immigrate to one but not the other is irrelevant.
