I approached this thread by speaking of God as wholly outside of creation. Panentheism places God inside creation, rather than out. But does not place him *as* creation, as the pantheists do.For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? I certainly agree that he is wholly other than human being. And that his ways are not our ways.
I don't believe he is unknowable. That's part of him being *in* creation and not out.
Lots of different ways to talk about God's wholly other-ness.
