Those teens and pre-teens to which you refer, Schoel, may have had homosexual experiences or influences at an early age.
That is what I had generally believed, but it is difficult to prove that everyone who struggles with same sex attraction has been so violated, especially as there are many who claim otherwise about themselves. I wonder if considering this as one of the potential triggers is wiser than considering it the sole cause.
I think i have seen several examples of children exhibiting homosexual tendencies at a young age plus many gays claim they have always felt the way they do, so why not take them at their word. However i agree that the source does not matter, it is what it is which is sin. The culture allows and now supports many things which are sinful to thrive, but this is irrelevant if you value being a follower of Christ. Often we have to choose which is more important, the praise of men or the praise of God.

I agree with you all about the consequences of the rejection of God on individuals and societies/groups.
In the same passage, Paul says the same thing about unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil, envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, gossip, slander, hatred of God, arrogance, disobedience to parents, lack of love and mercy, etc., which covers, well, everything and many such things are practiced by the young and the old.
As you said, when God is rejected and His truth suppressed, there is a greater expansion of all manner of wicked behaviors, which God allows (or "gives over to") with patience and tolerance and kindness so that all might come to repentance (Romans 2).
