I have a book called "Kingdom of the Cults" by Walter Martin. This is gives the best description and history of JWs, and many other cults. I recently gave the book to my sister because she is married to a JW and wanted to know what his beliefs were. When I get it back I will let you know, and if you are interested I'll mail it to you.any where you know of that could explain that to me in 'simple" terms ( watchtower stuff). I like Kingdom of the Cults. It is a bit dated, but so is JW teaching. I don't know anything in it that you can't find online, but if you want to read it, I have a copy on my bookshelf that I can send you. You can also find them on eBay for less that $5.

I really like Kingdom of the Cults as well. A classic. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get familiar with the views of the JWs, Mormons, etc.
