Oh my. Seriously?

My only excuse is that the computer I'm on at the moment doesn't have sound, so I couldn't listen. I wrongly ass-umed what it was about, from others' comments. My apologies.

Please, if you would all just erase my last couple posts from your memory, I would greatly appreciate it.

These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along. Move along.

Yep, I got the impression that the video was all about the debate that was supposed to happen between White and the Caners.

I had a hard time with the audio on that video.

Sorry for the delay but I have been experiencing the most horrendous dental pain ever!

Er, I just put up the link to keep the subject of Arminianism/Calvinism debate on the table.
It was not meant to convey the possibility that Steve and James will not debate.

I happen to think that Steve is way more honourable than those guys were.
Those guys were supposed to debate but ended up through there unacceptable shenanigans, causing the debate to die.

That debate will never happen, and Ergun Caner knows why!
I intently followed the whole public affair of this "no show" from the start to the last, and Liberty should be thoroughly ashamed of it's behaviour.
The whole record is freely and publicly available as to what transpired in the debate that was not meant to be.

I am confident that this shall not happen with Steve Gregg and look forward to the debate going ahead at some point.
I only hope for the debate to be done properly.
I am against a radio debate and would much prefer a Moderated debate over a few days or weekend, at a Church, recorded for DVD etc.
Much cross examination, and at least a 2 Disc set as the result for distribution to theChurches.

I could even arrange a Professional film crew, handle editing and even distibution through my contacts in the industry.
My younger brother has His own Production company and he edits, cuts, does the Menus etc and delivers all the "Vege Tales" finished product DVD'S here in the South Pacific region and has good relations with the distributors. He would be willing to get involved if it helps do this thing right.

Mark

A live, face-to-face, moderated debate would also be my preference. James has suggested a radio debate. I am not against that, either, but I think it should be moderated and formal. I find that, without that element, I generally get a lot less time than my opponents for talking! :-)

Just keeping the debate on the radar screen.
So far, Steve has the benefit of knowing what Dr White will be arguing for and against!

Below are the links and brief synopsis for the programs already dedicated to Steve's views upon Calvinism.

Maybe Steve could give us a wee fortaste by providing a response to say the response by James White regarding Acts 13:48.

I am really interested how Steve will deal with James response to His position. I see no way out for Steve on this verse.
The last show by James on his response to Steve Gregg is the first one below.

Tetagmenoi, Self-disposed, Reflexive Pronouns, and Dave Hunt, Oh My!

Dove into Acts 13:48 and Steve Gregg's presentation on the text today on the Dividing Line. Spent the first half hour or so exegeting the text, then played Mr. Gregg's comments, then took a quick call at the end on Dave Hunt. Get out your Bible and get ready to take notes! Here's the program.

A Monday Radio Free Geneva!

Well, I surely was not planning on this, but I wanted to address statements made by Steve Gregg in the last of the nine mp3 files I have downloaded. But since I am about to head out of town, I had to rush into the studio and record quickly. I address various errors in particular on the topic of Greek grammar and syntax in the comments offered by Mr. Gregg. Here's the program.

A Friday Radio Free Geneva!

I was riding this morning, pressing on with listening to the 13.5 hours worth of lectures delivered by Steve Gregg on Calvinism, when I decided to do another Radio Free Geneva episode. Since I did not get into the office till late in the afternoon, I had to record it without webcasting it, hence, no announcement here on the blog about a live broadcast. In any case, I felt the comments in the seventh of the nine files worthy of the investment of time I put in this evening. Since I played a lengthy portion of the presentation, the resultant program is 2 hours, three minutes in length! But the topics addressed are very important: God's nature, God's love, and the topic of assurance. I hope and trust that many will find the interaction useful and helpful. Here's the program.

Today on the Dividing Line: Radio Free Geneva

Had a most enjoyable time on the program today reviewing various elements of the presentations made by Steve Gregg in support of synergism over against monergism. I trust I was fair, yet firm, and that the clips I played were of sufficient length to accurately portray Gregg's position on the topics addressed. I only got to John 6:37, and will schedule another Radio Free Geneva for May 1st, the time of the next Dividing Line (I will be traveling next week). Here's the program.
