Need recommendation for group study

Post by darinhouston » Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:17 pm

Sadly, it needs no homework or pre-reading, and preferably a short (20-30 min) weekly video with Q&A. Steve's formats are just too long for typical weekly group bible study in our church. But, would like something of like mind that would make them think.

It's not video, but would Steve's Matthew in 20-minute chunks work?

It might if I were leading all the lessons and q&a. But we'll be rotating facilitators and need a study guide with questions etc.

our church uses resources from here: https://www.rightnowmedia.org/Search?q=life%20of%20paul

The class I attended (Paul in Rome) had a 10-12 minute video to watch per session and there was a handout for each session with questions, challenges etc. It was pretty good.

Dwight: How about just dividing Steve's teachings into 3 or 4 segments. Just find some good stopping points. You may already know that he also has many video teachings as well. You could do the same with those. They can be found on his home page under Resource LInks. As far as notes or an outline, you may have to create those yourself before the group study.
