I'm praying it won't snow for 15 weeks. That's a lot of snow.

I find the "snow" falling in this forum rather distracting. I have to really concentrate in order to type and locate codes, etc. Does anyone else have this problem? Or is it simply the case that I have an attention deficit disorder?

For Firefox users, there's an add-on called YesScript that will block Javascript from any site you choose. It puts an icon in the status bar, then if a site's Javascript is causing trouble, you click the icon to disable it. If you want to re-allow Javascript from that site, just click the icon again. There are no other settings, couldn't be simpler.

But for those who like snow, we have some extra here in Idaho, and I'll be happy to send you a dump truck load or two..

I was thinking a shoebox-full for my daughter would be nice, but it looks like we'll have our own in a day or two. You can save your postage. Thanks for offering, though!

jarrod,

I loved your snow. My computer screen was an excellent place for snow. It was pretty and I didn't have to shovel it. I was sad to see it go. Can you make it come back again, say in July and August? The power of suggestion may help cool the air here that time of year.

darinhouston, did it snow in Texas? yet?
When I lived there (in the late 70's), we used to have some mighty cold ice and windy storms...(in the rural Rio Vista "outback") ;)
