Parallel bible????

Post by __id_1015 » Fri Feb 16, 2007 11:02 pm

Does anyone have a recommendation of a good parallel Bible? I want to purchase one but want one with the main 4 Bibles used in churches today, even though I am not really sure what they are. Anyone have a good suggestion? Thanks. Keith

I have one that I enjoy very much. It is just the New Testament, but it has the following 8 translations/paraphrases

King James
New King James
New International
New American Standard
New Living
The Message
New Century

hmm...can't remember the 8th :)

I think you'd definitely want at least the main 3: KJV, NIV, NASB

I did not know there was one with that many versions for the new Testament. Do you remember the name of the publishers?? Thanks. Keith

Thanks very much for the info. I will be checking some online stores in the next few days for prices. Thanks again. Keith
