I pray that there will be more converts like this one!MillerShull wrote:I had to share this. It probably won't be quite the same to anyone who doesn't personally know the 'new believer', but it made me think about how much I love the word of God.
He opened his bible the other day to Proverbs and reported to us that, "Reading Proverbs is more fun than bombing a hill on a skateboard!"
That's quite a thrill!

By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:35)
Hey Sue, My son is a youth leader in our local church and is involved in the local skateboard ministry. He has had some wonderful experiences in sharing the Good New. I can't say he has had many wonderful experiences on the skateboard though. Its a rare thing for him not to have some sort of minor injury.

Hi Allyn,
Sounds like your son is doing a great ministry. I know what you mean about the injuries though - my son has already had a broken ankle and a knee re-construction; he still skates but is not quite as obsessed as he used to be!
