I was reading a devotional, and I don't know the eschatology of its authors. However, as is the case of many dispensationalists, this author made the remark that as we near the end of the world things are getting more and more corrupt, and sin is more and more blatant.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason to believe in a world that ends on a pinnacle of sinfulness, is with a dispensational mindset, correct?
Postmillennialists believe that the world will be heading towards a glorious thousand year reign of Christ, spiritually. Amillenniallists have no constrained reasons to believe any particular end of the world, other than the fact that Jesus is coming back whenever he feels like it..
Am I understanding this all correctly?

General State of the World As We Approach its End
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Yes, I would agree with that assessment.
