For Whom Would You Vote?

Post by Biblegate » Sat Apr 13, 2019 1:06 pm

Suppose a Christian voter must choose between a Muslim candidate for President, or a Christian candidate. And suppose that voter agreed with the Muslim candidate's policies but disagreed with the Christian's policies. For whom would you vote? That's what a curious caller asked Steve Gregg, host of The Narrow Path radio program.

As the demographic makeup of America changes, I suspect we will see more and more "progressive" candidates in office. Which is unfortunate, for Libertarian minded guys like myself. My friends on the left seem to think that government is the answer to every societal ill. Add in the fact that many of our college campuses are infested with Marxist professors who blame everything on "white males", and you begin to see why Americans are shifting their thinking and voting for folks like AOC and Omar.

I agree with you, Brody.

I see you placed the word, progressive, in quotes. That's good. Years ago I stopped using "progressive" to describe socialists/Marxists/liberals/leftists, etc. I will not perpetuate their deception. They adopted that innocent-sounding label in order to camouflage their evil intent, which is to return civilization to a less developed condition i.e. Statism, i.e. Serfdom. There is nothing progressive about going from liberty to slavery. So-called progressives are actually regressives.

I just noticed that my spell-check accepts progressives as a word, and does not accept regressives. But I do. I just forced my spell-check to add regressives to my word-processor's dictionary. There! That's one tiny victory. ;)
