Here's how (except you have to use use brackets, not parentheses):
Go to the page you want to "link" to and copy its URL.
Paste it where I have "http/theURLitself".
Do it like (but with brackets):
(url=http/theURLitself)Type a Link Name(/url)
You can add bold, italics, color, underline, etc., like:
(url=http/theURLitself)(color=red)(b)(u)Type Your Link's Name(/b)(/u)(/color)(/url)
The above example will look like:
Type Your Link's Name
(but will be a real link).
Btw, I keep a "blank" handy in Word & just insert (paste) the URL & invent a name.
(but use brackets):
(url=)(color=)(b)(u)(/b)(/u)(/color)(/url)
Test run.
FBFF automatically "makes" URL-links (like below).
But we're naming them (and/or shortening them).
FBFF Announcments URL: http://www.wvss.com/forumc/viewforum.php?f=39
Okay, now I'm linking to & naming it.
("copy & paste" the above URL, in indigo...remember, use brakets!):
