Homer,I've been a member of independent Christian Churches for close to thirty years. The one we attend now calls itself "Church Of Christ" but is actually an independent Christian Church.
Seems to me that every independent Christian church is a church of Christ and every church of Christ is an independent Christian church, if you know what I mean.
