She lost ground for a day or so, but three days ago, she sent a message that she was beginning to have sensation in her right hand. Today, she's typing her own messages. What a wonder!

You're right, Charles, we are not to stop. To all who are praying, thank you so much for coming alongside K in prayer. I'm excited to see what the Lord will do (and is even now doing)!

Praying..

Please pray for a friend of mine who has ALS. He has had this problem for 6 years or so but was formally diagnosed this year by the Mayo. He is a Christian also suffering from addiction problems. He has lost most of his use in both arms, having a hard time holding his head up and cannot always speak clearly. He is 35 years old. His wife is at wits end and is contemplating some form of separation. He has nowhere really to go. They have 3 beautiful children under 5 years of age. Please pray for his entire family, lots of folks praying right now for them but this is a spiritual SOS.

Thank you my brothers and sisters. I love you all. jim

Jim, I am praying for your friend and his family. Is his wife a believer? My heart is heavy for all of them.

All of the above is referred to King Jesus, and we pray for a speedy intervention.

As I was praying for him last night, it especially occurred to me that I should pray the Lord would give him HOPE.

Hi, I'm new here on the Forum and am seeking desperate prayer from God's people... I am 31years old and when I was a kid (15years of age) I and a friend committed arm robbery (he was same age as I). By God's grace I was sentence to serve 3years in a juvenile institution. Because of my gang affiliation I was broken by the fighting and eventually surrendered my life over to Jesus and been following Him since. I now have a beautiful family wife and kids etc... I feel overly blessed. However, these past few days I been feeling more than unworthy and am deeply hurting with grief! My old childhood friend is still incarcerated! He wasn’t as lucky as I. At the age of 15 he was sentence (at the same time for the same crime) to serve 23years in one of the worse adult prisons in America (The judge threw the book at him and no one understands why). It’s been at least 16years since I spoken with him last and just recently I received a call from prison that lasted only 60 seconds. Not enough time to talk his mother called me a few days later and told me the horrors he’s been through (And I cannot stop grieving! I feel like I should be right there with him). He has been stabbed, abused, and has tried to kill himself many times. His childhood and adult life has been snatch from him. His mother tells me he feels like there is no point, no purpose for him. I beg that someone would cry out to God on his behalf for him that he would see God’s mercy and love. His mother says he does not go to Church because the sex offenders are there and if he were to go his life would be in danger for being seen with them… Please stand in prayer with me Church! Please pray God would give me the right words. I am so weak and my heart hurts for him! Chris

Brother, We don't know why God works one way in one life and so differently in another, but we know we can trust Him. If He has brought your friend to your mind so powerfully as this, I would trust it's because He wants you to pray for him. And if He calls you to pray for him, then it must be that He intends to do a work in his life. Thank you for sharing his story with us, because it will be a privilege to stand with you in prayer for him. I'm praying for both of you. I can't wait to see what the Lord will do! There are warriors on this forum whose prayer moves mountains. Joan

Jesus,

We pray for help and mercy... and a strong shield.
