Glad to hear you got the job! Sorry to say I didn't notice this thread until today and then when I did I went racing through looking for how it all turned out. Kind of like reading an exciting suspense novel - except I don't read novels so I'm just guessing. Anyway its good news!

Hi Homer & Thanks again, all!

Thursday A.M.: They called, saying "I'm hired"...if I pass the physical & background check.
Thursday P.M.: Did routine paperwork; background check initiated; scheduled a physical.
Friday: Passed the physical.

Background check should be done by Monday.
If I "pass" it, which I will, I'll go to Orientation some day next week.

Start work: Monday, Nov 17th.

Excellent news Rick. I'm hoping that the job not only meets your needs, but that you actually enjoying doing it (makes it a lot easier getting up in the morning and going to work when you don't mind what you do!).
