Which story did you think was sad?
I think that was a reference to the Carlton Pearson/This American Life story.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Thank you, Mort, for posting that link, by the way. I listened to it today and I thought it was fascinating. I didn't think it was sad, but I am inspired by people who give up everything for what they believe. I think Carlton Pearson could have held on to everything if he had just kept his mouth shut about what he was beginning to believe. I admire his integrity.
