question about baptism

Post by _Blev » Mon Sep 05, 2005 2:11 am

I want to get baptized but I don’t belong to a church. I was wondering if it would be legitimate if my father & brother, who are believers, to baptize me?

There is nothing in scripture that says you must be baptized by a church official or in a church gathering. I can see no reason why your father and brother could not baptize you.

Some Partial-Pret Guy (too lazy to log-in)

Just make sure that you have a good relationship with your father and brother,
or cause you want to make sure they pull you back up.

Just a smile for today
