Help finding a cheaper version of a book I want..

Post by brody196 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:54 pm

So, I have recently been wanting to buy the book by Edward Fudge called "The fire that consumes". I have found it at several places online, but it seems to be very expensive($40). Has anyone here been able to find it for a cheaper price? $40 is just a little outta my range to spend on a book at the moment.

Thanks!

It seems to be $25 on amazon. That's a little better. I have a copy, but I'm not willing to give it up! Good book, but hard to find cheap.

Or just listen to Edward Fudge teach the subject

Depends on which edition you want. $40 is about right for the new edition:

I got a copy of the 1996 edition a couple months ago for $8, but I see they're a lot more at the moment:

If you're not in a hurry, you can set a price alert on bookfinder4u.com, and it'll email you when there's a lower price. But I'd guess it'll be quite a while before the new edition is going for much less. That's just the way it is with books for which there's a low demand. You gotta remember, it's only us heretics who read this sort of stuff. :)

hey brody,
i have a copy of the third edition. i'm willing to send it to you if you think you can send it back in 3 to 4 months. if it got damaged in shipping, no worries, oh well. i only got about half way through it before getting side tracked with another book by joel green. and 3 or 4 months is the soonest i would likely get back to it. let me know.
grace and peace...
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
