Pray for my family

Post by Sean » Sun Oct 26, 2008 3:36 pm

It seems we have the flu or something like it. Two of the kids are sick and throwing up and I'm sick as well. We all go through these things but I would just ask for your prayers during this time. Thanks.

Same here -- I'll definitely pray for you guys -- we've avoided the stomach stuff, but we've all been sick with "cold" stuff too the past week except for our 4 week old and we're praying that she'll be protected since it's still somewhat dangerous for another few weeks if she were to get sick.

Sounds similar to whatever was going round here as well recently!
- praying for you all.

Hi Sean,
Just read your post and praying for your family. Like to share some tips to cure flu here.
Watch what you eat, drink hot soups and increase your water intake. Do take steamy shower and wash your mouth with salt water. Blow nose more often, gargle and use a humidifier. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and smoking and avoid workouts.

And to avoid getting the flu in the first place, I have heard that 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 per day is pretty effective.
