Septuagint Bible

Post by featheredprop » Wed Apr 27, 2011 7:50 pm

Are there any good Bibles that provide a reading from the Septuagint rather than the Masoretic Text? Or, do they make a parallel Bible offering side by side views from both translations?

peace,

The Greek Orthodox Bible uses the Septuagint as the basis for its translation of the Old Testament. Unlike most of our bibles, the New Testament quotes from the Old Testament agree with the Old Testament passages which it quotes.
