If you were to only be able to read 4 books of the Bible for the rest of your life (which would be a horrible thing to have to have happen

). Which ones would you choose....?
Would you keep all four gospels?
a couple of epistles, Genesis, or Revelation?
I think I would choose
Romans (for it's incredible doctrinal importance)
John (a very interesting and personal view of Christ, as well as it's deep teachings of what Christianity it truly about)
Psalms (just because that is the one book that can speak to every situation that life brings your way) and......
1 Samuel ( the stories in that book are some of the most amazing stories ever heard, and the spiritual significance in those stories would be irreplacable)...
What about you? Which 4?

Hmmm...
Without thinking too much, I'd pick...

Genesis, and 1 Samuel for thier history
John for it's view of Christ
Galatians for it's view of the church (a hard one as Romans and Hebrews make it a close call)

Hi Allyn,
A little off subject here, but what in the world is that in your avatar? Is it papers or something. I'm sure when you tell me it will become clear, but I can't make it out
Later bro,
Aaron

Its me sitting at my desk with a copy of the dead sea scroll fragment in front of me with the Bible laying open as if I am comparing the fragment to the Bible. That's what the picture is but if you think I am able to do what it looks like I am doing then I have a bridge to sell you.
The photo was actually made as a background for my random daily devotions at my web site but I thought if Michelle can change her photo often then why can't I?
