Babies and Children That Die

It's probably just going to be conjecture but I was looking for some opinions on babies that die. Do you think that when they die and go to be with the Lord they are still babies and must grow to a certain knowledge or do you believe when they die and go to the Lord they have the same understanding of all things completely as would one that had lived for the Lord 50 years and went on to be with Him?
I don't understand exactly how we'll be but from Jesus resurrected body I don't assume we would look incredibly different in form. Do you think a baby or child that dies will still appear to be a child there, and will they grow into an adult. While I don't believe there will be aging in heaven because we will be clothed with immortality, I can't imagine a person being a child for eternity either?
What are some thoughts on this?

I think the best we can do is guess

But since Adam was created mature, and Jesus was resurrected in His prime...my guess would be that we'll all be 'in our prime' forever.

I hope youre right. I have a 5 month old and I don't want to hear babies screaming throughout eternity
I guess it's one of those things that we see through a glass darkly at the moment...It will all eventually make sense!

I have held the opinion that, in the resurrection, babies will be raised as babies and grow into adulthood.

Someone asked me about the millions of aborted babies. What about those aborted in the earlier stages? In what womb will they "continue to grow". Or what about those which did not develop past the zygote stage?

I don't know the answer to these questions, and since the answer has not been revealed to the writers of scripture, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Some believe Isaiah 65 is about a millineum but if you don't believe in a millineum it must be the eternal state and it mentions children. "No more shall an infant from there live but a few days" Isa 65.20 .
