Have you noticed that Jesus compared the truth of His resurrection to the truth of the story of Jonah and the whale or great fish?
"For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." Matthew 12:40
So if the story of Jonah is a myth, then so is Jesus' resurrection!
But obviously, both are literal, and both are true.

Good point, Dwight.

Man judges a person by his past deeds, and administers penalties for his wrongdoing. God judges a person by his present character, and disciplines him that he may become righteous.
