Hello All,

America is a democratic republic. Therefore, division, conflict, and contention is necessary in order to determine what methods of governance is most effective for the whole. In this experiment, sometimes "we the people" get it right, and sometimes we get it wrong. However, before this judgement can be made, policies must first be enacted to determined their success or failure. The Obama administration was rejected by our republic during this recent election. So much so that the electorate dismantled their leadership at the local, state, and federal level. However, these same people were wise enough to not give the Republican Party carte blanc. They only have a simple minority in the Senate. This is extremely noteworthy because in the span of two years (2018) if the Democrat Party fails to listen to the electorate once again and support, rather than block, policies that are working (yet to be seen), they will be voted out of the political process altogether. The Democrats are stuck between a rock and a hard place, this, by their own doing. I have no doubt that they will strategically plot and scheme to undermine potential progress. This is the extreme left within the party, that destroyed the party. If Democrats are smart, they will jettison what "the people" rejected, their extreme left-wing. The "blue-collar" democrat is the only way forward for the party.

The liberal media and still obtuse Democratic Party can't seem to understand why they lost. Why do they continue to race-bait like alcoholic and drug addicts who are drawn to their own demise! America IS NOT a racist society. The same people who put Obama in the Whitehouse just rejected the racist, homophobe, xenophobe, and every other classic divisive argument that the dems thought were effective. But yet, they keep it going. These people are truly ridiculous. I say this because when true divisiveness occurs, the nation is suspect because of the phony characterization and allegations directed towards their political opponents. The dems proudly own this divisive rhetoric. Thus, they will most likely lose their Senate seats in 2018, and deservingly so.

The Democratic Party must move far away from the extreme left if they want to have a seat at the table once more. Blue-Collar dems are the future. Time will tell. You may want to read this article in full. It appears that Trump wants to go back to torture techniques during interrogation procedures. Here’s a short quote from a National Post article:

Trump has backed harsh interrogation techniques that President Barack Obama and Congress have banned, saying the U.S. “should go tougher than waterboarding,” which simulates drowning. You are the "A Typical" narrative the U.S. electorate rejected. The prejudice on the left without merit is astounding! The Trump administration isn't even in office yet and their policies are condemned. The intolerant left have been exposed for the frauds they are. The Democratic Party was run out out of town on a rail! If they continue to listen to people like you, they will be finished forever. If you think the majority of Americans care about being sensitive to enemy combatants over their economic short-comings, you are delusional. The U.S. electorate chose Trump. Let's see, they behead us and we waterboard them to hopefully obtain information to prevent death by beheading, and we are equally the barbarians! This foolish labeling of the electorate, as racists, bigots, and all that is not of the liberal mindset, creates a backlash of the rational majority to show up at the polls. Keep this up, especially if the Trump administration is half-way successful, the dems will be finished. Campaigning and governance is not the same skill set. It would be wise to reserve your most condeming judgment after such actions are warranted--such as the Obama administration devastating defeat and rejection.

I'm not condemning anyone. I am presenting facts, which you obviously reject out of hand in your adulation of Trump. I will say no more after this post. I don't have to. The truth will come out as the people of United States find out to their chagrin the ramifications of having this man as president.

What do you expect paying someone just a dollar.

IMHO to many folks on the left, politics is their religion and they will not be swayed by rational reasoning. I was talking to a nice lady recently with a hard left political view. She brought up politics and i gave my reasons why i thought a market driven economy was superior to socialism. I got around to discussing our trade imbalances and the pending Trans Pacific Partnership. I said we would pay Vietnam approx 35% duty and they pay us 5% for their goods shipped here. I said we have deals like that with dozens of countries and it makes no sense now. Maybe 30 years ago it made sense for various reasons but today it's draining us of our resources. I said we are actually subsidizing their economies and draining our resources. She compared it to the USA intervening
in WW2 to fight the Nazis or helping immigrants , meaning it's moral for us to help the world. I realized she and many on the Left make no distinction between the USA and the rest of the world. They are Globalists and IMO would like to get rid of all countries borders. They have no feeling of Patriotism or allegiance to a country.
I understand that Christians should put the Kingdom of God first but this is something different, reminding me of the Tower of Babel!

I think the majority should care more about how they treat other creatures of God-- indeed his very children! But it is as you say, because Mammon is our God in this country. And loving our enemy is simply something to scoff at.
Not torture an enemy when American lives are on the line? What? Treat them as fellow humans who bear the same image of God? Piffel! Away with such nonsense, we will live in plenty and work to secure that above all else.

I think you are overgeneralizing in that IMHO this election was more about the economy then anything else. Most folks just want the opportunity for a decent job and safety for their family and to be free. The USA is not the kingdom of God, it's just a place to live and have the opportunity to practice your faith or not.
