OK, I have a few questions about angels.

Q1.) Are angels active like they were in the Old Testament? Heard a comment the other day that Dr. J. Vernon McGee believes angels do not minister to men in this present age as they did in the old testament, because the holy spirit does the ministering now and there is no need for angels. So what are the angels rules in this present age? Do they minister? Do they still warfare on mans behalf? Are there such things as guardian angels? Q2.) What about angels not singing do they sing? Are there any scriptures that say angels sing?

re question 1: what about heb 13:2?

if angels arent actively minstering today, what are they doing? i think there is enough anectdotal evidence to accept that angels are assisting christians today.

Re question 2: it depends on the bible version. i listened to a series by david jeremiah on Angels once (very good, by the way) and he made the point that the bible never mentions angels singing. he was obviously using KJV or NKJV because these versions always read that angels "say" not sing. other versions say that angels sing. i was teaching a middle school bible study class a while back and i gave a quiz- one of the questions was whether angels sing. i thought the answer was no, but a student in the class begged to differ, brandishing her NIV.

What evidence can be proven to be an angel and not The Holy Spirit? I'm not finding much biblical evidence. But my mind says I heard lots.
