Jesus made the following statement.
John 3:13
No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
I have always been taught that heaven is a place you go when you die. Here, Jesus says he is already in heaven although he had not yet died. Any thoughts?

I have a transcript of the Greek papyrus 66, which is believed to have been written in the middle of the second century. In that manuscript the word "who is in heaven" are absent from John 3:13. Likewise most current Greek editions of the New Testament do not contain it. Most modern translations do not contain it.
