I`ve uploaded my first Bible-based clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-V-5ZAj3hc
Steve had suggested I tackle the Psalms but I have had a go at Isaiah 53 as a warm-up.
The music may not be to everyone`s taste (as always) and Marillion are not a Christian band. It is however a rousing piece and, ironically, I later discovered this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD5eOMmi-Xk
where the singer begins with an Old Testament quote, not sure from where. That did it for me. This piece it was to be. I have no copyright for it, but we can discuss that later. My conscience is clear on this one.
You tube compress the original file quite badly, but heck they are entitled to - it`s their server! Best viewed in 720p, full screen and headphones.
Isaiah 53 time lapse
Re: Isaiah 53 time lapse
Wow! What a masterpiece! I can't wait to see the whole Old Testament done this way (in your spare time, of course)! It is really moving!
Re: Isaiah 53 time lapse
Ian,
That is not an OT quote, but an old Latin hymn translated to english. The tune is a variation of a chant.

I think the song's about global warming and the end of the world.
Re: Isaiah 53 time lapse
Thank you for your kind words Steve. Not surprisingly I`ve already had some converse feedback elsewhere regarding the content:

I guess you`re very used to that in your own line!
