Hello, Todd,
When you say, "the discontinuance of the sinner," by what means are you referring? Is it (1) physical death, (2) annihilation of the soul after physical death, or (3) something else?
I do not hold to there being a soul apart from the body, so physical death is as dead as dead can be. When the lights go out, the show's over - unless the producer stages a revival.

Will there be a temporary revival for judgment? I don't know. But ultimately I am annihilationist in outlook, when it comes to persons God does not consider to be viable participants in the world to come.

Shlamaa,

Emmet,

If Annihilationism is correct I would think that it would occur at physical death. It makes no sense to me for the dead to be raised only to be destroyed again. However, I am a Universalist and believe in the scenario that seems to be portrayed in Rom 8:21 and 1 Cor 15:28. :D
