We were blessed to hear a man from Ruwanda speak this morning.
He brought 4 young men who were rescued from the streets after the horrible genocide,, The pain and loss they endured was truly amazing.
One man after seeing his parents and siblings killed, had to live in the
jungle as an 8 yr. old child for over a year. There were many wild animals and he was so alone and in constant fear. His close companion,
his dog, was eventually killed......He broke down as he told his story today
and told how he cried out to God and asked him to save him and deliver him from his poverty and physical hunger to change his life. These men are so talented musically and the Holy Spirit was so present in this service. I can only cry out that we as a country would seek God more as
Daniel did 3x a day and read his word. I believe the simple but truth provoking message along with Holy Spirit's help has deeply changed me...
We are a country that is rich in material wealth yet poor in spirit. We are
more interested in being correct than to walk in love and cry out for this
nation that is bankrupt. GOD help us!
God Help us
God Help us

Amen! I couldn't agree more. Have you seen Hotel Rwanda or Blood Diamond? Both are movies about genocide and were quite eye-opening. The west rarely expereinces things like that so it's very convicting to see what real suffering looks like.

Thank you for your comment...No, I didnt see those movies...
I will be posting a website and more information regarding
sponsoring a child or children... It does make a difference in a
child's life to be a sponser, it is only 29.00 a month and that
sends a child to school, one uniform and meals. At the moment
my husband is sponsoring 4 children 3 from India and our new
little girl from Rwanda.
