I want to express my gratitude for all those who preach the word of God without compromise. In particular this is aimed at Steve Gregg as the host of the Narrow Path radio program. A friend of mine who I have known for years has just experienced what seems to me as genuine salvation. God has lifted the vale from his eyes, and given him new life in Christ. He is very shaken up and already experiencing persecution from those around him. Thank God that he knew who to turn to in his distress, the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He has already seen evil at work against him, but he has also seen the awesome power of our lord through prayers and other believers. He lives in the Santa Cruz area and I told him to listen to the Narrow Path (March 11th). He said that it was as if God was answering his questions and comforting his worries through the questions and answers given on the air. May this be an encouragement to all those who preach our Lord. Never give up! Thank you Steve for your labor, and longsuffering for all of us saints. -ERIC

The new believer under discussion here showed up at my meeting at Twin Lakes Church this evening and we talked for a while. I am hoping to meet further with him when I return from Orange County after the weekend. He definitely seems like a solid convert and one in whose life God is visibly at work.

I had to share this. It probably won't be quite the same to anyone who doesn't personally know the 'new believer', but it made me think about how much I love the word of God.

He opened his bible the other day to Proverbs and reported to us that, "Reading Proverbs is more fun than bombing a hill on a skateboard!"

That's quite a thrill!

Zoe, that's really exciting! As mother to an (unconverted) skate-boarding son, I can understand your thrill - and really look forward to one day hearing something similar from my kids!
(I'm so glad that with God nothing shall be impossible).
