This isn’t really a topic raised by any caller, but ‘no posts’ in the column looked a bit sad….someone has to break the ice….and since I won’t be disrupting any particular set tone….I’ll go ahead & be frivolous….

- does anyone else want to chuckle when they hear Steve say something like - ‘we have five minutes left….we have time for one or maybe two calls….’ ?
:D

Time goes, you say? Ah no!
Alas, Time stays, we go.

Yes. It seems funny to me, knowing that I can't say much in less than twenty minutes. Amazingly, in some churches, the whole sermon is that length! When I have been talking twenty minutes, I am getting ready to introduce my first point.

However, occasionally, a caller will call at the end of the show and say something like, "I just wanted to correct you about something you said to that last caller. You said the war as in Saudi Arabia, and it's actually in Iraq." Then, I only have to say, "Oh yes! How embarrassing! Thank you for pointing that out! And our next caller is Bob, from Portland..."

Bob from Portland is my hero! He always seems to have thought provoking questions.
