My wife has been wanting to call with a question, but she feels she must do some research of her own first so she has at least tried to answer it before calling on an expert (it's just her nature). I tried to convince her that it wouldn't be considered "lazy" for her to call without having researched it first, and that the bible doesn't tell us to seek the biblical answer before consulting a teacher but instead to take what we hear and test it against Scripture. To just take the answer and not follow up might be sloth, but not the other. I also suggested that she should look at it as a favor to those others in the audience with the same question who might miss out on the answer if she had just answered it herself.

We'll see.

Uh-oh Michelle, now you’re half way there…guess what I said to myself when I had occasionally mused about calling the show? “There is NO WAY I am going to call in!”
But maybe you’re not as impulsive as I seem to be at times; still, it might help if you think of it as just calling Steve, and not to a radio program.

Well one of us certainly is, no prizes for guessing who…I was just wise enough to know I should let Steve do most of the talking!

That's an excellent reason for calling in. I've certainly heard some questions I wouldn't even dare ask in a meeting, but was glad to hear answered, & that someone was gutsy enough to ask!

Hey Suzana, it was great hearing you on the show !(I'm usually one to two days late in listening, but I haven't missed one in a about two years). I was all smiles when I heard you that I kinda forgot what question you even asked. That was cool.

I've heard Rick a few times now on the show that I think I'd recognize his voice even if he wasn't introduced!

(sounded just like them, didn't I)?

Okay.
Assuming Michelle could potentially sound alot like Mrs. Cleaver; I could call the screener & say (as I imitate Mrs. Cleaver), "I have a question for Steve. My name is Michelle from So Calif."

"Welcome to The Narrow Path radio, Michelle. What's your question?"
"I was just wondering if _____ (we get raptured in flying saucers or something like that)?"

Don't make me do it, Michelle, just don't!
DARE ME??? huh, huh, HUH???

Well, it means 'very quickly, very soon'. Normally a bit faster than the meaning of Jesus' ''surely I come quickly", if you are amillennial, & very much sooner, if you are dispensational.
