Who was Lucifer?

Everybody knows that Lucifer is the Devil, right? And everybody knows it says so in the Bible, right?

But is that right? Does the Bible actually identify Lucifer as the Devil? That's what a caller to The Narrow Path radio program discussed with host Steve Gregg. Please listen, but be prepared to have your head spin a little.

the devil is a created being weather a angel, ark angel cherub, seraphim but steve gregg wont say that saten is any of those things all you will hear is well the bible doeasant say that.saten is mot a snake.

Grayham-

Might the answer not be that we are not 100% sure what/who satan is because the Bible does not tell us explicitly? Does that answer bother you? If so, why?

We know enough about him to know what to do-- resist and flee.
