The Fall of Jerusalem...

Post by _Randall » Thu Mar 23, 2006 10:24 pm

Anyone care to comment on why God didn't see to it that an apostile or scribe write an historical book on the details of the fall of Jerusalem? Surely He could have, and it would seem that this information would have given seekers of truth an easier path to gain understanding of prophicies in the scriptures.

There have been so many wonderful men of God who obviously loved the Lord and had lots of thinking power, yet never were able to connect the dots. And this has led to preaching misinformation that hasn't helped a lot of us find the truth.

Just wondering.

What about Josephus and his work on the Roman siege and destruction of Jerusalem?

He wasn't a Christian, but maybe that's better.

I think i've heard Steve say that possibly Josephus's works may have been divinly protected so we do have a detailed account of what happened.
