So the reason Pat thinks what he thinks is because of a promise God made in the bible that him and many others believe is eternal.
I'm quite aware of what Robertson believes and why he believes it, but that's not the point.

My opinion would be the same about someone who agreed with my own theology and eschatology but who made "prophetic" pronouncements like Robertson does. It would still be blasphemy.

Here is what it really says:

1 Now the LORD had said to Abram:
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”



I did'nt say it was my view and this promise was repeated to Jacob IMO in Gen 28.13-15. And i do understand that Paul said "if you be in Christ then you are Abraham's seed."
