My dear sister is experiencing pain on top of pain.

Beth is a chronic back pain sufferer (6 surgeries) and now is dealing with some kind of nerve pain in her foot that causes severe sensitivity to touch along with an intense burning sensation. My heart breaks for her.

She leans on God as much as she knows how.

I'm requesting intercessory prayer for her, I'm begging for it.

I fear for her life, it's that bad.

I thank you all, brothers and sisters in the Lord for any consideration.

I will pray for her also. I have great sympathy for her because several people I am close to also have agonizing chronic back pain. God bless you, Bud.

Status report: (this is not as detailed as I would, due to the unavoidable public access here. I am very grateful for this site!)

My retired mother arrived on a mission of mercy a week ago to check on my sister, care for her, organize things for her, see her Dr.s' n' nurses. The list is long what she is doing. I have been praying specifically for something like this to happen. Praise God!

If anybody is wondering why I haven't done these things, it's because I can't stand, sit, drive etc enough to do them (I get back spasms if I talk too much on the phone, laying down).

My mother stayed with me 2 days, yay! (She got to rest here ). We are working on getting Beth a lightweight wheelchair.

Beths' nurse asked her why she was so calm the other day, Beth said, "Because my mom is here". (She enjoys some pain relief in certain circumstances, eg. sometimes when we are on the phone together).

Beth now knows the Dr.s prognosis. Her painful sympathetic nerve problem is said to be long term.

I am praying God cures her, gives her more help like my Mother is giving her and for wisdom and stamina.
