In the dissipation of drug and alcohol abuse I longed for death. I was enslaved to sin and had no hope
Then one day I had the oppurtunity to read a letter written by a friend who had also been enslaved. He had repented. It was clearly evident to me that his heart had been changed... he was a brand new man!
It was then I knew that God was alive! That in Jesus Christ was forgiveness of my sins and a new life in Him. I too repented and turned my life over to the Lord... He was right there, and true to His word. From that moment I have been filled with new desires. Desires that have replaced the old... desires that point to God.
I am alive now, when once I was dead.
Choose life, trust Jesus!

Hi Moe,
If you look under General / Personal Questions in the forum index you will see the original discussion about adding this Heading to the Forum, it is a very recent addition.
I pondered for sometime whether or not to make the original request as I did not wish to impose upon those who administer this website, or, make any more work for Steve as he seems to already have a Herculean task set before him...but I could not contain myself.
I was elated to find Steves' positive response, and even more so to find this new heading activated with my chance to praise God, and Glorify His Son Jesus' name in this forum!

I agree with you Moe about wondering if many know about this new heading, because, to find it you pretty much have to do so by accident by clicking on Announcements on the first page of the forum.
