I love Dave. When I first became a Christian, his books and messages really helped me alot.
His story of how he came to new york with just two pair of pants, and started teen challenge, which has changed so many lives and continues to do so is awesome.
A group from teen challenge visits my church about once every 2 months. It is always a blessing to hear there testimonies. One girl was healed of Hepatitis c, and a meth addiction of 20+ years.
And some say God don't work miracles anymore.....

I first heard Bro Wilkerson speak in person in morning Chapel at Central Bible College (A/G) in Springfield, MO....back in about 1980....
I heard him a couple years later in Houston, TX after moving there. I can't recall the sermon topic in the Chapel service. But I do remember it had to do with living a holy and committed life. Brother Wilkerson's sincerity is just there...you can't miss it. He loves the Lord.

Hi Rick,
Thats an awesome story! I did not know that he had a son that works with TBN, I bet Dave is not to happy about that. I heard Dave say once that "God had written the obituary for TBN" I still laugh about that one.
I got your email, and I am trying to send you a link so you can listen to the files. I don't want to post them at the FBFF, because I am not to impressed with the job I did. As many are aware, I sometimes have trouble putting my thoughts into words.
If I can ever figure out how to send a mp3 file through the internet, you will be in bussiness.
Regarding being in an AOG church while being A-Mill, I am currently in one and must admit that it is kinda frustrating watching/hearing pre-trib movies lectures. I feel like I am listening to someone read a science fiction novel!! And ofcourse when I voice another view(A-mill), I am not taken serious at all. I have a strange feeling that some leaders in the church have sorta "warned" the other members not to really take me serious on matters of eschatology. I "spiritualize" everything and don't want the modern day Jews to have their land".

Hello Brody,
You wrote:Thats an awesome story! I did not know that he had a son that works with TBN, I bet Dave is not to happy about that. I heard Dave say once that "God had written the obituary for TBN" I still laugh about that one.
Thanks for your reply.
I googled some links that had Bro Dave commenting on the "prosperity gospel" that weren't too, um, approving. I
have wondered why he's never on there though. (Now I know)....

I disagree! You did very well and, to me, you did about as good as Steve would have!
LOLOLOL!!! Yeah right! Thanks though for your kind words. You are my new hero.
Also, I think it would be good to post them here (btw, I was gonna do that myself, lol, but I guess you wouldn't want me to). I couldn't find the page I loaded the one debate from and since I found out it was you...I would have wanted your permission anyway.
C'monnnnnnnn, Broooooody! Postem!
You have my permission. Do as you wish Brother.

Brody,
I think you misunderstood. James White is a faculty member of Columbia Evangelical Seminary...which, as it turned out...was where I found the interview with Stanley Horton (Coffee Talk link, above). Click on the Coffee Talk homepage and then find White, listed among the faculty. He's not talking about anything: it's the seminary's online catalogue.
Also, I can't post a link to your Gene Cook debate here at FBFF. I have it in my computer (and forgot where I got it) but don't have a page to link it to.

He is not A/G he left that denomination.
I am just merely stating that one can grow alot through his
free audio sermons along with other pastors at his site.
