I don't think that's one, Mograce.
... whom God put forward as a means of mercy by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins; it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he makes righteous him who has faith in Jesus.
This seems to contrast God's passing over former sins in the sacrificial system which He allowed by concession with the present time [Paul's present time and ever since], in which God is in the process of rendering righteous [actual righteousness not positional righteousness] those who have faith in Jesus.
Another scripture that teaches basically the same thing is this:
Acts 17:30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent ...
The "Cost" of Forgiveness

Paidion,
More from the early Church fathers:
Clement of Rome, (c.96, W), 1.18
"Because of the love He had for us, Jesus Christ our Lord gave His blood for us by the word of God. He gave His flesh for our flesh, and his soul for our souls."
Polycarp, (c. 135, E), 1.35
"Jesus Christ 'bore our sins in His body on the tree'." (This most obviously speaking metonymically of suffering for our sins; He could not possibly literally "bear" our sins.)
Justin Martyr, (c.160, E), 1.247
"The whole human race will be found to be under a curse... The Father of all wished His Christ, for the whole human family, to take upon Him the curse of us all, knowing that, after He had been crucified and was dead, He would raise Him up... His Father wished Him to suffer this, in order that by His stripes the human race might be healed.
There are more but these should be sufficient.

Paidion,
Hear is some that come to mind.
Eph.1:7 "In Him we have redemptionthrough His blood, the forgiveness of our tresspasses, according to the riches of His grace"
Also Rom.4:25 "He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and He was raised because of our justification."
1 John1:12 "I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgivenyou for His name's sake."
Thanks,

This is very interesting and very involved for me personally to clearly interprut it all , but out of it I can say I do not know one person Christian or not who does not sin.
And I know many who try to live a very clean and honest life but still fall short. Where does that put as all than..we are doomed?
If that is what is being said I do not agree with that at all and basically to me it like saying what Christ did for us on the cross is worthless. I could never agree with that position and in fact even shudder that a fellow Christian would even think that way , I feel like it demeans what my Lord has done for the entire human race!
Please forgive me if I am talking out of line and interpruting some things here that are not being said. I know we all have a little different opinion on some things but I guess I am sensitive regarding what I believe Christ did for me and I can never be thankful enough.
