I don't think it right to suggest to the young woman that she is a murderer of the same order as David and Paul. Having said this, I want to clarify that I fully agree that taking the life of a fetus is morally wrong (if that is indeed what she did).
However, isn't there a difference in taking a human life at an early stage?
If your position is that the stage of growth is irrelevant, then would you say that if a means were taken to expel a zygote, that this would be as much murder as killing a baby just before it was born (as in the so-called "partial-birth abortions")? To think so, in my opinion, is to widen the very definition of "murder".
Furthermore, I think the pain factor is relevant here. A zygote is a human being, but not a conscious human being. A mere impregnated human egg is not conscious and feels no pain. By contrast, a baby at the last stage of development who is torn apart piece by piece in a "partial-birth abortion" experiences excruciating pain.
I suppose, in reply, you could ask me whether I consider it any less murder to kill a human being by putting the person to sleep so that he feels no pain than to kill him in a painful way. And, of course, it is just as much murder according to the usual definition of the word. Notwithstanding, I would take the position, however, that murder which involves pain in the victim is morally worse.
First of all, I would be inclined to encourage the young woman to question whether her action actually caused the miscarriage. At the same time, I would not diminish the fact that she had the intention of causing a miscarriage when she took the medicine.
I would try to show her scripturally that she has not only forgiveness upon her repentance before God, but deliverance from such motives in the future. In this way, her guilty feelings may be removed, and she may become emotionally healed.
However she is approached, it must be done with utmost love and concern.
Advice re: miscarriage vs. abortion

Paidion,
At this point, she's not ready for the first part of your post. She's definitely ready for the love and concern. We ask that you keep her in prayer and also pray for us as we attempt to be a conduit through which God may communicate to her. We will assimilate your comments into our overall discussion with her and we appreciate you for taking the time to respond. Quite helpful.

satan loves to condemn us for our past....He is a liar and father of lies.
God totally forgives and that is condemnation from the evil one.
We can have remorse and regret with repentance and then believe God
for what he says...Tell her the people the Lord rebuked were the pharisee's and Saducee's(sp) for their religious piety with no regard for mercy. Our Father shows mercy and loves this precious girl. She needs
to believe God's word on forgiveness and love..." let God be true and every man a liar."

Hello,
I would add that Mother Angelica of EWTN states in her down-to-Earth wisdom that it's sort of an insult to God to think that our sins are greater than His mercy. Makes sense to me. God is willing to offer us mercy, IF we will accept it. Sometimes it takes humility and self-forgiveness to do this, and it might take time.
She's in my prayers,
Liseux

Carolina is a man named after the Carolina's...Here is his story:
Five years ago Carolina signed up for a three day, in prison ministry retreat. " I only went for the free world food," he said. " I was plotting a
very violent act and I figured this would be my last free food. To me, God was a fairy tale and anybody who believed in him was a fairy."
After a day at the retreat he was bored and anxious to leave. He became so agitated that the facilitator started to panic. And thensuddenly: with no
preliminaries, no prayer, no trumpets or blinding lights, God just took the violence and bitterness right out of my heart." Carolina said.
I knew it was gone because I'd lived with it forty four years. I thought I'd lost my mind.....Then I heard Jesus say, " I love you." It sounded like words from speakers at a concert. In every joint of my body I felt Jesus say, : I love you." I started crying and I cried for 2 weeks. I had not
cried since I was 7 yrs. old"
Carolina may still be in a cell but not in a pit. Carolina had been in 4 different prisons in different states. He is currently serving a life sentence..He had an inordinate taste for violence and was one of the most dangerous prisoners.
" Is anything to hard for me"?
Choose this day dear sister who you will serve and believe.
the snares and deception of the evil one or God whose word is full
of promises for you.
God Bless you
